Differential indicators are used on the pressure line to check the efficiency of the filter element. They measure the pressure upstream and downstream of the filter element (differential pressure).

Ciò si ottiene utilizzando alloggiamenti filtranti dotati di indicatori di intasamento.
Questi dispositivi iniziano quando l'intasamento dell'elemento filtrante causa un aumento in caduta di pressione attraverso l'elemento filtrante.
L'indicatore è impostato su allarme prima che l'elemento sia completamente intasato.
